Parabens and Cosmetics

How do parabens relate to skincare and cosmetics for the face? In a society that is obsessed with youth and beauty, we have access to and have spent billions of dollars on facial scrubs, micro-dermabraision, chemical peels, alpha hydroxyl acids, beta hydroxyl acids, exfoliating pads, even soap and water with a washcloth. All of these are designed to exfoliate the skin to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and leave the skin looking newer and more hydrated. One of the best ways to maintain the look of younger skin is to keep the top layer of skin "peeled off".

If your skincare regime or make-up contains parabens...then just like shaving the underarm, you are exposing yourself to paraben migration. Do you see where this is going? This is why I've created a paraben-free mineral make-up line that is preserved exclusively with plant-derived ingredients.
